What we store

Only what the service needs to work:

• A session cookie, so you stay signed in. It is set for one address only and is never shared with another school's address — that separation is part of how one address stays one portal.
• A cookie recording when you were last active, so a session left open on a shared classroom machine can be timed out.
• A preference cookie or two, for things like a chosen theme.

What we do not

• No advertising cookies, and no advertising anywhere in this product.
• No third-party analytics tracking a child or a parent across the web.
• No social media pixels.
• No selling or sharing of anything a cookie records.

Turning them off

Your browser can block cookies. The session cookie is not optional in a useful sense — without it you cannot stay signed in — but nothing here is tracking you for anyone else's benefit.
